Graze @ The Butchers Arms, New Restaurant Venture for Capital Cuisine

Graze is the new permanent restaurant venture for Capital Cuisine, based at the Butchers Arms, in Cardiff suburb, Rhiwbina. We pride ourselves on featuring some of Wales’ best Welsh products on our brasserie style menus. Pâtés, terrines, relishes and chutneys are all made by our bespoke manufacturing arm Capital Pâtés in Bedwas, Celtic Pride beef and Pork is a sign of quality Welsh produce and we are proud to support Welsh farmers. Relax and enjoy!
Daniel will be heading up the kitchen with a small team of chefs, who will look after your every need.
The restaurant seats 90 people and is a part of a busy pub, which boasts live music on a Friday night as well as a large sporting contingent, complete with 3D TV. Tables can be booked in advance and we look forward to welcoming you.

True Taste Awards Dinner 2008
One of the many major events catered for by Capital Cuisine was the biggest and most prestigious event in the food industry calendar - The True Taste of Wales Awards - attended by some 620 high profile foodies, chefs, restaurateurs, hoteliers, media and food manufacturers - the pressure was on!Held in the indoor arena of the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel and working closely with the front of house team at the hotel meant that we could concentrate on the food. The menu was made up of a host of past winning products and our good friend Nerys Howell ensured that the mixture of hotel and outside caterer was seamless and professional.
Welsh Tapas were served from 3 sushi belts in the reception area, which was the first 'wow' of the night, once the guests were shown through to the main room the second 'wow' factor kicked in with organisers Quadrant doing their usual superb job of turning what was basically a large shed into the amazing set, any Hollywood producer would be proud of, complete with circus trapeze artists. To keep the 'wow' factor going the guests were served a main course of Braised Belly of Welsh Pedigree Pork with a hint of Chinese 5 spice and honey glaze, followed by a winter warming dessert of vanilla rice pudding, Elderport poached plums and Hill Station ginger ice cream, this was complimented by an amazing array of fantastic Welsh cheeses and of course coffee. Hailed as the best yet feeding 620 people from what was a large shed 3 days previous was no mean feat, however undaunted by the task before us we set about fitting a complete kitchen, with 3 satellite serving stations, walk in refrigeration, sinks and boilers.
Of course the highlight of the evening was winning the Gold Award for our new business Capital Pates, Terrines and Tracklements in the speciality products category with our amazing PESTO - Champagne all round!
